Monthly Meeting Make-n-Take

Each month, I get together with my fellow stampers to learn about new products and techniques!  Of course it's nice to see everyone and catch up for a bit too...

Here is a card that I made in Jan.  I love it so much that I am thinking of hosting a workshop to make this wonderful card...tell me if you are interested! Thanks Brenda Keenan for the wonderful idea!

Sale.a.Bration 2012

I love the Sale.a.Bration promotion! It's already nice enough to have free hostess stamp set(s) when hosting a workshop. To top it, you can earn extra sale.a.bration bundle(s) during Jan 24-Mar 31.  I just love all those free products...LOL

Card 1:
Since I am still on a Valentine's mind set, no wonder my cards still have a "sweetness" taste to it. I really like this Everyday Enchantment set.  Can you believe it? The Designer Series Papers, Brads, and Ribbons are all free?!? Just love it!

Have a mentioned? If you join Stampin Up! during sale.a.bration promotion period, you only need to pay $125 (typically $175) for the starter kit which includes stamp sets, ink pads, cardstocks, etc. (values over $345).  In addition, you will get a free stack of cardstock/digital download for free each month for the rest of the year! It's a good promotion!

Valentine's

Valentine's Day is coming up!!! It's just so fun to make V-Day card.  I think I like to look at all those pretty hearts, flowers, etc.  That's the reason why you will see so many designs for V-Day cards.  I am sure you can find one that suits your taste, or for that special someone in your life!

V-Day Card 1:
I made this card with my best friend on New Year Day.  It's just so fun that we were still making cards at 2am. I really like this "You Are Loved" stamp set from the holiday mini catalog.  Don't you feel sweet after looking at it?!?

(Come join me on Feb 4, 2012, from 10am-12pm to make this card for free!!! Email me to RSVP!!!)
I have been thinking of hosting the first workshop for a while.  There were so many cards that I wanna make with my friends and family. At the end, I decided to plan my workshop around the Valentine's theme. Make it sweet and memorable huh?

This second card is simple but sweet.  Instead of using a lot of rubber stamps, I decided to use the new Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (125601) and the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die (125596).  I really like using the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439) - easy, fast, fun and cool!!! Of course, it's even more amazing when the stamp set that I used came for free (check out the Sale.A.Bration promotion!!!)

I am trying to make a simple card using the new stamp set from the sale.a.bration.catalog.  I quite like how it turns out, simple but sweet. What do you think?

V-Day Card 4:
Last attempt of the day! I believe I made the last three cards in a night! No wonder I couldn't sleep after making them! I was just too excited! In fact, I saw this stamp while putting away my supplies as I was thinking of calling it a day.  But as soon as I saw it, I had to try to make a card out of it.  It turned out quite nice. =)

Christmas

Here are the two cards that I made over the past Christmas!

Christmas Card 1:
The first one is a 3-D card, which I got the inspiration from Catherine Evans. This was the very first card that I made using my own Stampin' Up products (very limited supplies at that time).  It may not be a perfect one, but it's definitely a memorable one!!!

Stamp Set:  Pines & Poinsettias (holiday mini catalog: no longer available)

Christmas Card 2:
The second Christmas card was what I intended to make for friends and family.  However, Christmas came earlier than expected, which left me no time to complete this grand task! Anyway, hope you like this card!
